Information Systems in Organizations:

This class was none of my favorites because we had a fair few projects. We learned how MIS and IT culture affects our everyday world, and how it will affect the future. We learned all about efficiency, ERD’s, swim-lane diagrams and RFIDs. After taking this class, I knew I wanted to learn more about the field.

Principles of Macroeconomics:

Principles of macroeconomics was the first economics class I had ever taken. We learned the concepts of supply and demand and how the cycle works when firms demand less or more. It was important to learn how all of these factors feed into what makes the economy run.

Principles of Microeconomics:

This class was new and difficult in a good way. We learned how firms compete with each other and why consumers buy one thing over another. We also learned the different ways the government has to intervene in businesses for the good of the consumer.

Legal Environment of Business:

This law class was extremely insightful and very interesting. Our class was able to look at different misdemeanors involving businesses and learn why they are a federal offense. Studying these cases helped us understand why the government created certain laws and how these affect businesses.
