My Work Experience
Two years ago, I started a technical sales division of American Machine LLC. I currently manage four customer accounts that are responsible for 20 percent of all company sales. I use my 4+ years of machining experience to acquire new customers and maintain relations with previously established customers.
This past summer, I was able to…
- Set-Up databases in Microsoft Access to track customer jobs
- Design custom parts utilizing FastCam
- Work with a web designer to build American Machine a new company website
- Create Excel spreadsheets to track employee performance, change in cost of material, and customer value
I have expansive knowledge of on-site and in-shop machining applications in a variety of industries including but not limited to manufacturing, baking, mining, construction, valve automation, and power generation.
I have the ability to service customers needs of repairing, re-engineering, and replacing parts for their specialty equipment.
Ability to work with a wide range of materials including:
-Ferrous Alloys (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron)
-Non Ferrous Alloys (Aluminum, Brass)
-Plastics (UHMW, Teflon, Nylon, PVC)
