Women In Consulting Panel Discussion
This event was a panel of four women who all work in consulting. They discussed the advantages and disadvantages of being a women working in the consulting industry. Currently, I do not know what I want to do with my MIS degree. This event opened my eyes to the world of consulting. I learned how it involves a lot of travel, which is something I am very passionate about. I also learned how sometimes men do not take women as seriously in the IT industry; however, you just have to stay determined and you will be successful. I really enjoyed this event because I am new to the MIS major and it really helped me understand the IT industry more. This connects to my career goals because I will be a women working in the IT industry after graduation.
