Operations Manager, MK Transportation

About a year ago, my family started Logistics Company. It is definitely one of those experiences where I could apply my knowledge I learned in classroom to the real business. I am thankful for the opportunity I was given, to be a part of launching new business. In the beginning I was responsible for different parts of the business; including but not limited to: accounting, HR, customer service, operations management.

 

Project Manager, Gianti Fabrics

I had an opportunity to work on a creative project for a a few months for Gianti Fabrics. I was given certain time to launch a new web site to be able to sell their products online. I had an opportunity to hire people I needed for this project. In three months, we had all their products (around one thousand products) available to purchase online.  I was responsible for the design and content of the web site.

 

Administrative Assistant, JEVS Human Services

For more than 3 years I worked as administrative assistant at JEVS Human Services for the program called Center for New Americans. My career with JEVS started with a six-months internship and then I was eventually hired as a part-time administrative assistant. I worked primary in assisting refugees and asylees from all over the world by insuring the smooth flow of clients through the program by coordinating office functions regarding student eligibility, enrollment, and schedules. I believe that experience that I gained at JEVS, such as experience dealing with people of widely differing levels of experience, intelligence, education, knowledge, skills and abilities will help me to succeed in my future career.
