Work Experience
Lookaway Golf Club, is located in Buckingham, PA and was where I started my working career. I worked there from the summer of 20010 to the winter of 2013. I then went on a study abroad trip that summer and upon returning home thought it was time to try and find another place to work. Being an avid golfer in high school and having caddied for 3 years already I decided to stick with that. I found Manufacturer’s Golf and Country Club, located in Fort Washington, PA and was there all summer. Caddying has taught me many valuable lessons such as people skills, networking skills, and how important it is for a company to have good customer service.
I have always been involved in sports and basketball has always been a love of mine. I have been reffing intramural basketball since I was a freshmen in high school. After a couple years of doing that I was recognized by the head of Intramural Basketball who asked me if I wanted to become the head referee. This meant that I had to show up before everyone else and set up the courts, set the rims and the designated height for the kids playing, sit and watch over the other referees to make sure they were doing their job right, and if another referee didn’t show up I had to fill in for them and ref the games. I really enjoy reffing it allows me to help teach kids the game of basketball.
