Project: Next Generation Business Application Interfaces: Lessons from Video Games

Link: http://ibit.temple.edu/ibit-report/2012/02/16/next-generation-business-application-interfaces-lessons-from-video-games/

This was a senior project I did while in the MIS program and I worked with MIS Professor and Chairman David Schuff along with team member Uchenna Oguekue with 2 representatives from Electronic Ink – Michael McAghon and Paul Nuschke.

Role: Data Analyst

Goal: To make Business and Healthcare applications more user-friendly just as video games make it for gamers.

Played numerous video games from different genres while analyzing different business applications such as SAP and healthcare applications like Temple’s PACS system in order to build a prototype of a healthcare application with user-friendly GUI and accessible image viewing. Prototype was created using Adobe Flash and was presented in front of Electronic Ink on an on-site presentation.
