Volunteer Experience
Volunteer service has always been a huge part of my life. I have been volunteering since my freshman year of high school and have not stopped since. Over the years I have accumulated any where over 1000 hours of community service and because of this tremendous achievement, I have been awarded the Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals from the Congressional Award Committee in Washington, D.C for my active engagement with my local community. I like to help at the state and local level including organizations like: Abington girls lacrosse club, Philadelphia Zoo, The Walk to End Alzheimers, MLK Day, and Special Olympics.
Right now, I would like to start familiarizing myself with more organizations. Perhaps things like: Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, The Walk to End Aids, and possible volunteer work with the ASPCA. There is never too many organizations to be involved with!
