Student Worker
As a student worker at Charles Library under the sponsorship of John Oram, I used Microsoft Excel to manage our book inventory and track book requests. I processed check-ins, check-outs, and interlibrary loan requests. I also became familiar with shipping packages and using the software UPS Worldship.My responsibilities included processing check-ins, check-outs, and interlibrary loan requests while also supporting library staff with data entry and the organization of collections. Additionally, I conducted basic troubleshooting of library technology, like printers, scanners, and our digital catalog system Alma.Through this experience, I developed strong organizational and technical skills and improved my ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technological issues.
