Opportunity Knocks: Strengthen Your Personal Brand
The webinar on building your personal brand proved to be an invaluable experience that helped me to prepare for the professional world. The event had many Fortune 500 companies such as Vanguard, IBX, and Exelon. The panel discussed a skill that stuck with me which was consistency. Staying consistent, showing up to work everyday with a positive attitude does not only build your brand but also show who you are as a person. The tips shared such as maintaining a consistent presence, leveraging LinkedIn and show your unique skills are strategies that I will begin to implement in my own career search. Overall, the webinar gave me a better understanding of personal branding and how impactful it can be to land a full-time employment.
