Interesting Facts!
- Movies I have watched over and over…
- A Nightmare on Elm Street is the first one that comes to mind. It has an interesting 80’s horror vibe to it that is unmatched. This also goes for Sleepaway Camp.
- Favorite sports teams
- I am a die-hard Seattle Seahawks, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia Phillies fan.
- TV Shows I am watching right now
- I am currently starting Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as continuing the Wire. Two shows that are very different, but they are shows I have wanted to watch for the longest time.
- Places I have lived
- I have only ever lived in Pennsylvania. I lived out near Pittsburgh for about 3 months, but returned due to Covid-19.
- Pets
- I have one cat, and her name is Tabby. She is 15 years old, so she has essentially seen me grow up.
- Apps I visit daily
- Youtube is easily my number one. I watch a lot of content that does not necessarily need to be watched, rather listened to. My second most visited would be Spotify, where I have a library of music and playlists that I love.
- Favorite things to do outside of school and work
- Outside of school and work, I love working on my hobbies. I am currently learning to play guitar, which I have been doing since about the middle of the fall semester. I also enjoy spending quality time with people I care about, especially when we find something we all enjoy together. Quality time is essential to friendship.
- Coolest thing I have ever done
- I have done many cool things, but one thing that stands out to me personally is going to wax museums. I am enamored by wax museums. The artistry that they have on display is one that some may find creepy, but I personally find them to be absolutely beautiful.
- My proudest atypical accomplishment
- My proudest atypical accomplishment would be attending college. I am one of the only people in my family that even made an attempt, so I am proud that I have been able to come this far.
How this relates to my career goals:
As someone who intends to find work in the cloud computing and data management field, these facts are ones that can be related back to my personal goals. Even something as simple as finishing a show gives the same feeling of accomplishment as getting done a five page essay. Also, this shows how there are certain accomplishments in your life that you do not really think about until you actually think about what you love, and what you are proud of yourself for. This is a good exercise to do once in awhile because the more you sit down and think about it, the more things you notice you are proud of yourself for.
