Assisted our clients with defining and implementing strategies to manage their Attack surface focusing on the continuous discovery, inventory, classification, and monitoring of an organization’s IT infrastructure.
Engaged with clients to measure, assess, and advise on ways they can reduce risk as it relates to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. - Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished) – Inspected accounting systems and controls for improvement opportunities, leveraging our methodologies to help clients improve their information technology controls or technology risk management programs, and/or participate in the development or execution of internal audit strategic plans.
- What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses) -In my role, I had the fantastic opportunity to help our clients elevate the transparency, relevance, and overall quality of the information they share with markets and investors. This was crucial for them to meet regulatory and attestation requirements. This experience taught me the significance of accurate data and timely information – something I know is at the core of successful business operations.
- I also got involved in assessing accounting systems and controls to identify areas for improvement. This taught me a lot about efficient business processes and the importance of having solid controls in place. These insights resonate well with what I’ve been learning in my Management Information Systems (MIS) major. I’ve gained a deep understanding of data management, database systems, and the crucial role they play in ensuring reliable and secure information.
