Network Technician

  1. About Company: The Ladonware US division is located in King of Prussia PA, and has 8 employees in the US. I was in the technical solutions division.
  2. Job Function: Computer network and desktop support, phone issue support, technical support for Banks, Credit Unions, and Schools. Deployed to Job sites when needed for physical issues/ new client set-ups.
  3. Project: New Client William Penn Charter School, needed a brand new install with 300 phones and 400+ extensions, had to configure all phones, set up devices and extensions in our custom server for them, install Unify switches for phone use, created a Meraki network for them, install their own firewalls, put phones together and deploy all phones, fixing any issues on the way.
  4. Learned/relates: I learned a lot about the back end of networking, as well as how many products work/ how to help solve technical issues, as well as how phones and switches and firewalls work. I use AWS in managing servers for some clients, know what to do with subnets and such, programming helped when having to configure some devices/Meraki switches or if there were  any problems, and general networking knowledge helped from class.
