Upward Bound Tutor Counselor

Over the summer, I work as a Tutor Counselor for Upward Bound at East Stroudsburg University. There, I watch, mentor, and lead first-generation high school children from oppressed backgrounds as they work toward a college education. Furthermore, I listen and follow directions given from the Upward Bound director on what to do with the students and how to communicate with them. This experience helps me with my communication and leadership, and will allow me to work effectively through projects and lead others through projects.
