Springer’s Homemade Ice Cream:

June 2008-Present

For the past five summers I have worked at Springer’s Homemade Ice Cream in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. I started as a server, learning the ropes of the company and general workings of the business. I was then promoted to head manager. As manger I had the following responsibilities: Recording nightly cash register reports, making weekly schedules, ordering supplies, training new employees, and general managerial tasks. I was also in charge of implementing a new register system for the company.

I also ran social media for Springer’s. I was in charge of updating the company Twitter and Facebook pages. Through the Twitter page I was able to connect with customers and keep them updated about the store.

BPD Properties:

2007-Present

For BPD properties I restored properties in order to either sell or rent them. This restoration included: carpentry, basic electrical work, plumbing, and painting.
