World Heritage City Celebration Volunteer
As a volunteer at the 10th Annual World Heritage City Celebration, I supported event registration and setup for about 350 corporate guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all attendees. This high-profile event, organized by the Global Philadelphia Association, celebrated Philadelphia’s designation as the first World Heritage City in the United States and brought together leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
My responsibilities included preparing event materials, managing guest check-in, coordinating logistics with team members, and assisting with venue setup to meet the needs of distinguished guests and sponsors. Through this experience, I developed stronger organizational and communication skills, gained exposure to large-scale event planning, and learned how to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, professional environment.
