MIS 2101 Diamond Peer
- Job function – I host multiple office hours, study sessions, and review sessions, participate in weekly standup meetings, and update content such as making a new practice swimlane case, ICAs, etc.
- One thing I accomplished is being able to teach a class alone for the first time with 90 students for the full 50 minutes. I was able to conduct review sessions and craft meaningful work that allows students to understand Swimlanes and ERDs better.
- After taking the class being the ITA a few times, and now a diamond peer I always learn about the different ways students may struggle to absorb content. This semester was the first time students struggled with swimlanes over the ERDs. In the past, it has always been the other way around. I learned how to combat students\’ struggles with different approaches either in class, during office hours or study sessions.
