East Brandywine Fire Company

December 2012 – August 2016 (3 years 9 months), Disaster and Humanitarian Relief

I learned about essential firefighting skills and went on a few firecalls as I was underaged for most of my time there. I also practiced basic necessities of checking the equipment, taking out the trash and firemen knots. I usually participated on Wednesday in our weekly training were we would review or learn various tasks for firemen.

Helping to distribute food at a food bank

Chester County Food Bank

I helped move fruit into an inventory where the food was packed and stored.

Later in the week through an assembly line like process, we put the food into

care packages for those Americans in Chester County who needed them.
