My Interests

I am an amateur of E-sports. I started my gaming hobby with Nintendo Entertainment System(NES) game in 1998. After my parents bought the PC with Window operating system around 2002, I started to play more complex and more competitive games, such as Quake and Starcraft, and I also started collecting licensed game disks. During my high school period, I participated several E-sport tournament and was trained by a semi-professional e-sport game club. Recently, I am applying my coding and data analytics skill to improve player’s e-sport performance.

While video game industry is accepted by the mainstream in most of the countries in the world, the market (or stage) for E-sport (competitive game matches) is continue to grow. According to Global E-sport market report,  the Esports Economy grow to $696 million, a year-on-year growth of 41.3% (Newzoo, 2017). Notably, the Esports industry is not general video game industry. As an MIS student, I am looking forward to having an E-sport related job in the future.
