Data Visualization: Story Telling
In the module “Data Visualization Storytelling,” I learned the importance of correctly using data to tell a story. I understood the importance of setting your intention and what you want your story to communicate with the audience. Data alone is meaningless, but in order to communicate ideas, it should follow logic and be enhanced with visuals. The module also went into detail about some common acronyms used in the data world and taught many different skills to properly apply this knowledge in the real world. I not only learned how to visualize data, but also how to understand it from a different perspective. I will be able to use this knowledge in future projects and workplaces in order to optimize my performance.
