CorePath Laboratories
During the summer of 2019 I briefly interned at CorePath Laboratories in San Antonio. CorePath specializes in testing clients blood for cancer in the most efficient and swift manner. At this internship I shadowed many people of different professions. Scientists took me through the process of testing clients blood for cancer. I followed salesmen throughout the day learning about the business world and how transactions are made. A marketing expert showed me what it takes to make a successful advertisement and how to make connections with other businesses. I learned a lot about accounting and how the company conducts its financial transactions from the head of accounting. The company also has its own construction branch and the manger showed me the process of creating their new laboratory and office building. This experience was very inspiring and has made me very excited to join the business world
