My Interests
I enjoy a variety of activities and hobbies in my free time!
An interest of mine is Tae Kwon Do. I am now currently a second degree black belt and hope to receive my third degree soon. I had first started Tae Kwon Do in middle school and stuck with it up until now. I currently attend recreational Tae Kwon Do classes at Temple during the semesters and over the summer I return to my local dojo to take classes and occasionally volunteer.
In addition, I have recently developed an interest in traveling and experience new cultures. I am grateful to attend college in Philadelphia due to the immense culture found within the city. I enjoy going to cultural festivals that are ongoing throughout the entire year. In addition, in the summer of 2017, I had participated in Temple University’s Study Abroad program in Rome, Italy. Through that program, I was able to experience life-changing and meaningful moments. I was able to thoroughly explore Rome every single day and also other cities in Italy. After being in Rome for six weeks, it further sparked my interest in traveling and other cultures. I am currently planning potential trips to countries in Europe and Asia.
Another interest of mine that I have recently developed is cooking. Due to my fascination with other cultures, I try to create dishes from those cultures. I enjoy eating food and it delights me to cook something tasteful.
