On January 27th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, I attended the Institute for Business and Information Technology\’s Digital Leader Fireside Chat with Cindy Leavitt, the CIO & Vice President of Information Technology Services. Throughout the event, Leavitt thoroughly discussed the aspects of Agile and DevOps in relation to her job and in regards to the COVID world. Moreover, I learned about the functions of Agile and DevOps and their increasing effect and influence in the business world. Particularly, how organizations utilize them to work and operate faster and more efficiently. Similar to Agile and DevOps, throughout my MIS-major courses, I am learning about different software developments such as Data Science, API Development, and Web Development that help improve and advance business structures and systems.
