Summer Intern
Throughout my internship at Reliance Standard Life Insurance\\\’s Information Systems department, I analyzed data regarding customer feedback, website efficiency, and customer experience. In addition, I conducted industry competitive analysis by researching company competitors in regard to investing in technological aspects and digital projects. Overall, my experience at Reliance Standard Life Insurance highlighted the importance of data analysis to the success of an organization. Through software such as Excel, MySQL, RStudio, and Tableau, data analysis provides useful context and information to data, which helps businesses better understand and face problems they are currently experiencing. Ultimately, these tools, which I was primarily introduced to in MIS 0855 and MIS 2502, helped me organize my findings, which I later presented along with my conclusions, and recommendations to my Assistant Vice President of Digital Technology.
