Engagement and Performance Intern

 

This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to work as an intern at Unilever. As an intern, I worked with the TRESemme team in their performance and engagement department. This summer I was tasked with helping the Beuty and Wellbeing department create a strategy for limited edition products. I quickly learned that this was a strategy I had to research and build from the ground up, thus meaning I spent a lot of time talking to employees who have worked on similar projects and those who could help me find information about it. Most of the information I found was qualitative, but the quantitative data I did find was through Numerator and Circana, two programs that gave me information on psychographics and pricing, respectively. By the end of my 10 weeks, I created a 60-slide summary (including my appendix) to talk about how TRESemme can introduce limited edition products and brands/activations that would help them be successful in that. I learned so much about what CPG companies do, how to create equity in a brand and how brands work in all facets.
