AIS Mentorship Program
My participation as a mentee in the AIS Mentorship Program for the Spring 2021 semester helped me tremendously, allowing me to further develop myself personally and professionally. My mentor, an upperclassman in the MIS program, met with me multiple times over the semester to offer advice and to help me get more involved in AIS at Temple. We discussed opportunities within both AIS and the MIS program, professional development, networking within the program, and more.
I feel confident and prepared in continuing my journey as an MIS professional, and I’d recommend the program to any new MIS majors seeking an opportunity to better themselves and to get involved within the MIS community. After having gained more experience in the MIS program myself, I’d like to become a mentor of the AIS Mentorship program and offer the same advice and support as my mentor had for me.
