About Me
My name is Sean Hanratty and I am a junior at Temple University. I grew up and currently reside in Buck County, Pennsylvania. Previously I attended Bucks County Community College and got my associates degree in Business Administration. While attending college I have worked part time and am now currently working full time. I have goals to continue learning as much as I can about the business I work in while majoring in Business Management at Temple University.
Work History
I have experience with two jobs since I have been going to college.
My first job was working in the dairy department at my local grocery store Giant. I learned how to order, recieve, and manage inventory using an SAP system. I would also be responsible for making sure the inventory was fully stocked to the shelves for customers to purchase. I would help customers by showing them to products as well as answering any questions they may have had.
Currently I am the service department at a door company that sells and installs new garage doors and entry doors to residential homes and commercial business. I answer multiple phone lines for the company including main line, service desk, and parts counter in order to correctly help customers and transfer them appropriately. I type work orders using an SAP system. I also schedule the field workers with the jobs they will be going on day to day.
My Interests
My interests vary from things that make me feel calm to things that excite me. I enjoy learning about new cultures through their food and art. My favorite is watching foreign films, because I find it very relaxing. I enjoy sitting on the beach as much as I can in the summer. Most of the time, I will find myself listening to music when I am alone. Im very Interested in learning as much as I can in the business world. Sometimes my daily job working in a small office seems more like a hobby because I enjoy it so much and always learn something new.
