Instructional Technology Consultant at Temple University
I have been an Instructional Technology Consultant within Temple’s Center for Advancement of Teaching since May 2016. The department is under Computer Services, and our main job is to provide support for educational applications such as Blackboard, WebEx, and Camtasia Relay. Supporting a university of 3500+ total academic staff, I usually assist around 20 faculty members a day who have a variety of educational backgrounds and technical competencies. It makes the position extremely interesting, as on any one day I can assist an instructor with a project that really teaches me a lot about a specialized topic. I have also developed a huge network here at Temple, and love being apart of the University’s IT infrastructure.
