Opportunity Knocks: Building a resume and cover letter that gets you noticed
The “Opportunity Knocks: Building a resume and cover letter that gets you noticed”, that was hosted by Lissa Hilsee, was an opportunity for students to hear from recruiters from different companies. The first part was a panel for the recruiters, then the recruiters and students came together and the students could message in the chat box. Additionally, we went into breakout rooms with each recruiter and were able to introduce ourselves and ask questions. This event really helped me as a student learn more about how a resume is examined and what can make your own resume stand out to recruiters. It also helped me learn how to figure out my own strengths as an employee and how to enhance them on paper.
