Filtering Through the Google Noise
Andrew Miller, Senior Vice President of Search & Emerging Media at CMI/Compas, discussed responsibilities as marketers, google news and updates, as well as filtering through noise. Starting off, a major responsibility of a marketer is that to be an expert in their field. Google has constant role outs and changes and it is a marketer’s responsibility to tune into that and figure out what needs to be flagged and what actions are needed to take place. It should be part of daily routine, not a last-minute rushed job. Andrew emphasized how it is important to be a good partner in general. They are indispensable to our partners.
