Academics
I am an Actuarial Science major at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. I expect to graduate in May, 2015. I’m dedicated to making the most of my education and currently have a GPA of 3.93.
Some of my coursework includes:
- Actuarial Science Probability: various techniques of solving probability problems
- Java programming: fundamentals of computer hardware & software; writing java programs
- Macro and Microeconomics: concepts of supply and demand and the business cycle
- Statistics: emphasized collection, organization, and interpretation of data
- Microcomputer Applications: specifically Microsoft Excel and Access
- Discrete Mathematics: communicated mathematical concepts through proofs, formal logic, and number theory
Click the link below to see an Excel project from my Actuarial probability class. Each probability distribution has a sheet to display common statistics. The values are dynamic, so changing the parameters for a probability distribution will change the probabilities and mean, variance, and standard deviation.
