Class of 2011
I attended Upper Dublin High School for all four years of high school. There I completed many different business courses such as Accounting I and II, Introduction to Business, Marketing, and Investments. I participated in different extracurricular activities. I was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for all four years of school. I also was in the Ultimate Frisbee Club all four years and was the president my senior year. Additionally, I was a part of the Spanish Club and Broadcasting Club for two years.
College
I am a Marketing and Finance double Major here in the Fox School of Business at Temple University. I chose Temple for a few different reasons. One of the most important reasons I chose to attend Temple was that it is located in one of the biggest cities in the US. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and coming to Temple has allowed me to explore the city and see what it has to offer. Another main reason I chose Temple was the Fox School of Business is one of the best in the nation. So far here at my time at Temple I have completed many of the different required business and general requirement courses.
Additionally, I am a member of the American Marketing Association and the Financial Management Association. These student professional organizations have helped me learn many different things about marketing and finance such as job opportunities out of school and potential career paths. In addition, I am the Treasurer of the Entertainment Business Association (EBA), a new student organization. Our first official meetings will be held in the Fall of 2014. Our objective is to network students with professionals in the entertainment industry. We plan to host speakers who work with television, film and music companies. The organization will also host socials for students network with other members of the organization and potentially members of other organizations.
