Interests
One interest that I love to do when I’m free is Graphic Designing. I started the summer of my freshman year and ever since then, I never stopped. The name I use for my company is Triple S Productions. The reason I chose this name was because my first,middle and last name all begin with the letter S. below you will find some some of my creations which include team logos, general wallpapers,wedding invitations, shirt designs, and current designs which I am working on.
Another interest I have is making music. I started when I was a child just messing around with cassettes and pausing one to play another one at a given time. I made an account on Soundcloud.com this past year and have received an amazing response from people. Right now, I have 765 followers and it has only been about one year.! I mix music mostly but I have tried to produce custom beats and such as well. My account name is Sikh Skillz. The reason I chose that name is based of two things; one number is my religion. My religion is Sikhism and I wanted to incorporate that somehow in my name. The second reason was that I wanted it to sound cool so I added “Skillz” in the back. Here is a link to my account! Another great interest I have is dancing, singing and playing the piano. I know this sounds like 3 interests but all of it can fall under one major interest. I started singing when I was in 6th grade. I joined my middle school choir as well as my high school choir. I was in Men’s Choir, as well as Regular Choir. Singing is a very big of part me!
I started playing the piano when I was in 10th grade at high school. The only reason I got involved in playing the piano was because of choir. I yet to master the piano but I have a few selected songs under by belt that I can play with my eyes closed!
The last interest that I love is dancing! Dancing is been apart of my life since I was a child. I started dancing when I was 4 and still dance to this day. The type of dance that I do is Bhangra. Bhangra is a folk Indian dance that originated in northern Punjab. I’m currently on the Temple University Bhangra team and have been on it since my senior year of high school.
