Leadership Positions:
President, Temple University Chess Club, Fall 2011-Spring 2014
Temple University Chess Club is a student organization for students interested in playing chess leisurely or competitively. As stated by Gary Kasparov, “Chess helps you to concentrate, improve your logic. It teaches you to play by the rules and take responsibility for your actions, how to problem solve in an uncertain environment.” Members have the opportunity to learn and teach each other how to recognize, plan, and execute various tactics and strategies. As president, I organized tournaments on campus and trips to tournaments off campus.
President, Temple University Anime Club, Fall 2012-Spring 2013
Temple University Anime Club is a recreational student organization for those interested in Japanese animation. As president of a club with over 100 members, I lead, plan, and organized various events and community services with various organizations such as Temple’s Gamer Guild, Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP) as well as anime clubs from Community College of Philadelphia and Gloucester County College. I was responsible for fundraising and budgeting the club’s funds as well as managing the club’s library and list-serve.

Member, ISACA, Fall 2015 – present
Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA is an independent, nonprofit, global association, ISACA engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. ISACA helps keep me knowledgeable about the news and standard practices for IT governance professionals.
Member, Golden Key International Honour Society, Fall 2013 – present
Golden Key International Honour Society is an organization that has provided me with various academics, leadership and service opportunities. Membership into the Society is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based solely on academic achievements.
Study Blogger, Temple University Study Abroad, Fall 2014
Each semester Temple University select student bloggers to document their experiences during their time abroad. Through this opportunity, I was able to document and share my experience in Japan with others interested in studying abroad in Japan.

Temple AIS is the founding student chapter of the Association of Information Systems. It is a professional student organization that has allowed me to better understand the field of management information systems through professional development, social, and community activities.

Temple TDAP is a professional student organization to enrich a student’s portfolio via immersion in technical workshops. These workshops helped me to develop technical skills outside of the classroom. HTML, CSS, JQuery, Javascript, and WordPress are some of the languages and tools I learned.

Temple Ascend is a professional student organization that promotes the development of and foster leadership skills in Asian and Pacific Islander students interested in pursuing a career in accounting and finance. It has helped provided me with chance to network with various local, national, and global firms, and various leadership and community service opportunities.
