Work Experience
Acme Markets has been the only job that I have had as a young adult but I do not view this as a disadvantage, mainly because I have experience in many departments. I started with Acme in January of 2009 and am currently the Person In Charge at our Granite Run location in Media Pa. To date I have worked closely with my direct managers along with district department specialists and our district manager. Acme prides itself on providing its guests with fresh, quality products at a reasonable price while providing first class service.
Over the past five years with the company I have gained leadership, organizational, process, and team oriented skills. I have started from the bottom as a cart attendant all the way up through register and front end management to my current position as Person In Charge. This position gives me control over the stores Fresh Market, Center Store and Front End departments to ensure guests satisfaction and overall safety throughout the store. This position also allows me some creative freedom when it comes to building displays that attract the guests eye to promote impulse buying behaviors. My job requires me to have skills in team environments to effectively complete tasks and achieve goals.
I enjoy my job here at Acme because it requires me to constantly learn something new expanding my profile and making me a more desirable candidate.
