Active TDAP member Fall 2016
During the Fall of 2016 I was taking MIS 3501 and learning about PHP alongside HTML and CSS. I became interested in learning and developing better front-end coding skills, so I decided to challenge myself by becoming an active TDAP member by completing the JavaScript and jQuery course on Code Academy. The course was long but ultimately interesting and rewarding, and it is a nice skill to have when talking with employers. This course gave me a bit of a head start the following fall semester when I took MIS 3502. I used JavaScript and jQuery to implement a healthcare application that assisted caregivers with feeding their patients for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
