This activity was from LinkedIn Learning. Titled “Supply Chain Beyond the Basics: Leveraging Supply Chain Information Systems,” it focused on tools such as WMS, ERP, TMS, and OMS and showed how they work together to streamline logistics, purchasing, and inventory. Throughout the video, there were many key takeaways, one of them being that strong data management and cybersecurity are critical for smooth data sharing and better decision-making across partners. The course also covered emerging tech, which includes artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) and how they improve forecasting, automation, and risk management. Overall, these concepts feel directly useful for my career and could help me land roles like supply chain/operations analyst and logistics planner.
