Career Aspirations
Because of the amazing opportunity I was given to live in Taiwan for almost an entire year, I fell in love with the country and its culture. I have made becoming proficient in Mandarin Chinese a top priority in my life, and ideally I would like to be able to use it in some way in my future career. Languages have always been a passion of mine, however, and to work anywhere internationally would be my greatest joy, regardless of my comfort level with the country. As contradictory as it is to say, I never feel more at home than when I am exploring somewhere new.
