Future Goals
Education
I am currently a Senior at Temple University at the Fox School of Business Administration majoring in Accounting, with a Minor in Management Information Systems. Upon graduating from Temple with my BBA I intend to pursue my MBA and CPA.
Career
The healthcare industry has served me well, as I have worked for Temple University Health System since I graduated from high school. It is an interesting, and challenging industry that is constantly dealing with government regulations, funding cuts, and changes in available technology. These challenges are ongoing, and force a healthcare worker to remain on their toes, you need to be able to adapt and change quickly, and prepare yourself for the worst case scenario, for example the funding cuts as a result of the government sequestration, or the impact of the Affordable Care Act. For these reasons I anticipate remaining in healthcare after I graduate, however it is not my only interest.
I have always been fascinated by finance, and would be interested in a career path that leads to financial planning and wealth management. It is an area that many people find confusing, and difficult, however I find it interesting, and I enjoy helping people to better understand the world of finance and business as a whole and a career in personal finance would allow me to do that on a daily basis.
