ICSC Foundation Case Competition 2023
I, along with my incredible teammates, took home 1st place in the ICSC Foundations 2023 Real Estate Challenge. In this case competition, we were tasked with solving the dilemma of what to do with a 128,000 square foot marketplace, that is for sale, at 63% occupancy in a growing neighborhood. We recommended buying the property, filing existing vacancies and ground-leasing a 10,000 square foot pad site while holding the property long term. I am extremely grateful for the hands-on experience in addressing a real-world challenge within the real estate industry and for what I have learned, from so many amazing individuals in the field, during this competition.
