Experience
McDonalds: Working in a fast-pace restaurant, I came to understand the nuances of owning/running a business in the modern day. I personally attended low-level sales transactions, cleaned, and restocked supplies. Working under my father, I was blessed enough to see not only the culinary side of the business, but also the financial aspect of it. Being a massive conglomerate, it was a vital experience which furthered my understanding of how the real-world works today.
Wingstop: Similar to my time at McDonalds, I spent most of my time conducting inventory, conducting sales transactions, and maintaining store upkeep. I was blessed enough to receive a shift leadership position. The increased responsibility helped me understand how a business works from the inside out, and many of the small aspects of the business that are not seen by the public. Working at Wingstop, I developed leadership and management skills which will prove to be vital in my MIS career at Temple and abroad!
