RSM RAS Consulting Internship
RSM, formerly McGladery is the fifth largest accounting firm in the United States. The firm provides Audit, Consulting, and Tax services. RSM has upwards of 800 offices present in over 120 countries with roughly 41,000 professionals. The firm generates close to $2 billion in revenue alone in the United States and nearly $5 billion globally.
At RSM, I worked as a Risk Advisory Services Security & Privacy Consulting intern. As a RAS S&P Consulting intern, I was exposed to working on engagements that focused on IT audit, penetration testing, and security and privacy consulting engagements. My role included gathering and analyzing evidence, completing detail tests, and filling out work programs based off of my understanding from documentation, inquiry, and observation.
Throughout my work experience and interactions with the professionals at RSM, I learned a lot about what it is like to be working in the industry. It was also nice to learn outside of a classroom environment. I am also thankful for this opportunity to work as an intern at RSM this past summer. Overall, my internship was a success and I hope to receive a full time offer from RSM.
