Internship at NFI Industries
During the Summer of 2016 I had the opportunity to work at NFI Industries as a business analyst intern. NFI Industries is a supply chain company that specializes in distribution, transportation, global logistics, and real estate. As a business analyst I would have to interpret data from supply chain intelligence software and translate my findings into terms where our clients understand. I also had to find ways to improve business process for internal and external clients.
Throughout my time here I have sharpened my skills and gained knowledge. I was able to apply my SQL knowledge and create queries in Oracle SQL Developer. I have been exposed to more SQL functions and knowledge from my mentors at NFI. During my time here I have learned how distribution operates within a 3PL (3rd party logistics) organization.
