Extracurricular Activities
Naturally I am someone who never wants a single moment to go to waste. I enjoy getting involved and taking advantage of the variety of clubs and activates Temple and Philadelphia offers. I don’t like to be just another member in the clubs I am a part of and just go to the weekly meetings. I strive to be engaged, involved and peruse a leadership role. I believe that every club I am apart of helps me grow and offers networking opportunities with professional .
Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity
In 2012 during my first semester at Temple University I joined Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity (PAD). As soon I became an initiated brother I knew I waned more responsibility and get more involved with my fraternity. In 2013 I was chosen to serve as community service chair. During my time as community service chair I helped PAD participated Hootathon, Temple University’s 12-hour dance marathon to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Relay for Life for Life for American Cancer Society and Adopt-A-Block, where we went around Philadelphia cleaning up trash of an entire block. In 2014 I was elected to serve as Treasure of PAD, where I controlled all the finance of the fraternity. Also during my time as treasure I had the opportunity to attend Phi Alpha Delta’s Leadership Symposium in Washington D.C.
Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity
In 2013 during the fall semester of my sophomore I decided to go for recruitment and join a Fraternity. After exploring the several fraternities at Temple I ended up pledging Kappa Delta Rho (KDR). As soon as became an active Brother I got involved in leadership roles. Spring 2014 I served as my fraternities representative for Temple University Greek Association meeting and then in 2014 I was elected as Vice President. Being apart of KDR has open the door for several volunteer, and philanthropy opportunities. Below is a picture of myself and the brothers volunteering at Temple’s Adopt-A-Block. I also had the opportunity to attend my fraternities leadership conference, where I got the chance to network with brothers from every chapter in the nation. Since bring apart of KDR I have grown personally while learning leadership skills I use in the real world.
