Women in Business Community Cleanup
On December 1st, I participated in a community cleanup volunteer event. This event was hosted by the Temple organization “Women in Business”. During the cleanup, we focused on picking up trash in the blocks surrounding the Carlisle and Diamond area off of Temple University’s campus. The event had around 10 volunteers, and together we were able to fill over 6 trash bags. I was happy that I had the opportunity to participate in an event that focused on keeping our surrounding community safe and clean. I learned that volunteering for events such as this can have a big impact on the community.
