Project: Designing and Developing Intranet site
My internship consisted of me developing and designing an Intranet site for IMX Medical Mgmt to better disseminate information throughout the company. I used the concepts in MIS*3504 to effectively meet with various staff members to identify business and technology requirements. I then took the web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and PHP that I’ve learned in MIS*3501 and SQL from MIS*2502 to apply them to the project at my internship. In addition to the web development concepts that were aforementioned, I also used a HTML Framework (Twitter Bootstrap), jQuery, Javascript, SQL Server, and Internet Information Services (IIS).
