QVC

At QVC, I was brought on as the eCommerce Optimization Demand and Planning Intern. In this position, we were tasked with mainly optimizing the search engine to allow a better experience for the customer and to help them find the product that they were looking for. Everyday when I would come in, I would open up Tableau and look at the data on all the terms that were searched within the past day and choose which terms needed to be optimized. Along with that, I did projects for my manager like figuring out ways to improve our Live Chat functionality since it was not being utilized a lot by our customers. I researched other sites to see how they did it and compared it to ours and compiled all of my research and data and presented it to management and they loved the data that I compiled and went along with my suggestions!.
