IBIT Mentoring Program
For the Fall 2023 semester, I was selected to participate in the IBIT Mentoring Program. I got the opportunity to be paired up with Chris Cera, CEO of Arcweb Technologies. The program included 2 independently-scheduled meetings. In the span of our two one-hour meetings, Chris and I focused on the discussion of leadership, entrepreneurship, and accountability. We learned a lot about each other; professionally and personally. Unlike, his past mentees, we did not converse much about career development. The intention behind my application for the mentorship was to meet someone with entrepreneurship experience since I am very much interested in building my own business in the future. As well as currently holding a leadership position in a SPO here at FOX, I believe the knowledge I\’d receive from my mentor will heavily impact the way I lead my team.
