Study Abroad
Semester in Japan
During the Spring 2015 semester, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Temple University Japan in Tokyo, Japan. Living and going to school in Tokyo was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. During my time there, I became more independent, more adventurous, and more knowledgeable about an entirely different culture.

Japan Philanthropic Association
During my time in Tokyo, I had an internship with a non-profit organization called the Japan Philanthropic Association. My main duties were to conduct research on philanthropic methods used in the United States that my organization was trying to implement into their business model. I would compile information, write a report, and present it to senior management. Other duties included planning, organizing, and operating philanthropy events with over 50 clients in attendance.

Study Abroad Ambassador
After I returned to the United States, I became a Study Abroad Ambassador at the Temple University Study Abroad Office. Through this program, I get to speak to many students about my time abroad and provide information on how they can pursue their desire to study abroad as well.
