Hello, I am a Ph.D. candidate (4th year) in the MIS department at the Fox School of Business, Temple University.

My research interest is how information on social media affects decision-making and judgment. Particularly, I am interested in how such information strengthens or weakens stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination. I am capable of not only designing and analyzing controlled experiments but also scraping/handling data online and analyzing them with Python and econometrics. I earned my bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at Yonsei University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, and my master’s degree in management engineering at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), Seoul, Republic of Korea.

I will present my work at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and I presented my works at the Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS) and the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM).

I have been a teaching assistant (TA) of MIS 2502, Data and Analytics for a year (2021 Spring and Fall) and will teach the same course in the upcoming semester (2022 Spring).

My dissertation advisor is Dr. Jason Bennett Thatcher.
