Getting Things Done – LinkedIn Learning course cover the following aspects: captured everything, clarified what it means, parked the actions and outcomes, stepped back, and engage. These five aspects talks about methods to getting things done. Having a tray where you dump anything such as notes, files, or anything in your pockets. Clarify what you need to do and determine if it is actionable. Organizing different types of lists such as office, phone, computer, errands, and agendas. Making sure to reflect and review those items on project lists, catching up with any upcoming events or projects, and cleaning up any old projects on calendar. Last but not least, engaging, this could be working on a tasks, taking a step back and allowing the team to work on it, or even taking a nap.
Overall, this course taught me how to manage projects and tasks allowing me to determine the important tasks and the proper steps to complete these projects as well as good habits.
